1. How much do Nike workers make in Indonesia each day? How many hours a day do they work?

Answer: They make about 1.25 each day for working 12 hours.

2. What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home?

Answer: Life for people in Indonesia is bad because they don't have a matres to sleep on and they also don't have food.

3. Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory?

Answer: They probably don't want Jim or Leslie to see that Nike makes people work hard in bad conditions.

Behind the Swoosh Part:1

1. What does it mean to “make a decent living”?  What should you be able to afford to buy?

Answer: It means to be middle class. You should be able to buy a lot of things for example, cars or houses.

2. Where do your sneakers come from?  Who makes them?

Answer: I think my sneakers come from a factory. People.

3. What is a sweatshop (take a guess, even if you have no idea)?

Answer: I think a sweatshop is a factory where people work hard and get a little amount of money.
